Hi, I'm Sara! I am a trained pastry chef who loves good coffee, indie psych rock, taking photos, and traveling near and far. I live in the beautiful mountains of Reno, Nevada with my husband, Marc, my greyhound, Bertie, and my cat, Mabel.
Way back in the day, I attended a career high school in Las Vegas where I studied desserts and pastry. When I was in pastry school, I was lucky enough to learn everything there is know about baking from the science behind bread to the art of chocolate tempering.
In 2013, I moved to Reno to start my freshman year of college at the University of Nevada, which is when my love of midnight baking officially began. While everyone was drinking strawberry lemonade vodka at frat parties, I was (usually) at home drinking coffee and baking small batch brownies for my friends.
To this day, I find immense joy in the late hours of the night when everything is quiet and peaceful. You can often find me listening to music (or spooky story podcasts), sipping wine, and testing new baking recipes.
About Midnight Bake Club
Midnight Bake Club is my little corner of the internet where I share all of my late night bakes. On MBC, you'll find a collection of small batch baking recipes that are simple to make, ridiculously delicious, and use pantry staple ingredients.
From cookies and cupcakes to brownies and muffins, each and every recipe makes 8 servings or less. No matter what you're in the mood for, you'll find a recipe that will keep you company late into the night. If you're looking for my faves, start with chewy small batch chocolate chip cookies or my best ever small batch cinnamon rolls. Thanks so much for stopping by!
